چکیده
We define a general class of (multiple) integrals of hypergeometric type associated with the Jacobi theta functions. These integrals are related to theta hypergeometric series through the residue calculus. In the one variable case, we get theta function extensions of the Meijer function. A number of multiple generalizations of the elliptic beta integral [S2] associated with the root systems An and Cn is described. Some of the Cn-examples were proposed earlier by van Diejen and the author, but other integrals are new. An example of the biorthogonality relations associated with the elliptic beta integrals is considered in detail.

We start from an interpretation of the BC2-symmetric “Type I” (elliptic Dixon) elliptic hypergeometric integral evaluation as a formula for a Casoratian of the elliptic hypergeometric equation, and give an extension to higher-dimensional integrals and higher-order hypergeometric functions. This allows us to prove the corresponding elliptic beta integral and transformation formula in a new way, ...

Based on Spiridonov's analysis of elliptic generalizations of the Gauss hypergeomet-ric function, we develop a common framework for 7-parameter families of generalized elliptic, hyperbolic and trigonometric univariate hypergeometric functions. In each case we derive the symmetries of the generalized hypergeometric function under the Weyl group of type E 7 (ellip-tic, hyperbolic) and of type E 6...

This article gives an introduction to arithmetic motivic integration in the context of p-adic integrals that arise in representation theory. A special case of the fundamental lemma is interpreted as an identity of Chow motives.

We give the hypergeometric solutions of some algebraic equations including the general fifth degree equation. 1. It is well known that the general algebraic equation of degree n ≥ 5 cannot be solved by radicales [Ab 1826]. However, it may be solved if we use wider classes of functions. For example, the fifth degree equation may be solved in modular functions [He 1858], [Kr 1858], [Kl 1884]; the...
